Volunteer
Volunteers are a big part of the Kick Off Tournament.
Come for the entire weekend, or just a few hours. But please do find the time to make a difference. Our young competitors, their coaches and parents, and our stable of hard working referees all deserve to see rugby placed in the best of all possible lights!
Our needs (for both days) include:
- FIELD MARSHALLS - (need 10 – 12) – Sideline monitoring; team liaisons; referee aide
- ANNOUNCERS – (need 2) – Announcers and helpers
- SCOREBOARD HELPERS – (need 2) - Staff scoreboard, maintain current game results
- CERTIFIED ATHLETIC TRAINERS – We have 2 lined up, and are looking for 2 more volunteers
- AREA MONITORING AND COMMUNICATIONS– (need 4 – 6) Messengers; Refuse patrol; Water monitoring
- PARKING - (need 8 – 10) – Collect parking charges; Traffic direction; Program handouts
- We’ll need volunteers for AREA SETUP on Friday – (Need 15 – 20)
Field lining and flagging; goal post set up; Set up under the main tents, electrical and public address. - TEAR DOWN after Tournament completion late Sunday afternoon – (need 15 – 20)
